The Nanaimo Child Development Center. Meet Andy.

I’m a huge fan and supporter of the Nanaimo Child Development Center and the work they do.  They really offer a lot of support to families and make a difference to the long term success of kids in our area.  Recently, they came to Gabriola to create a video of Andy as part of a promotion for their upcoming telethon.  If you have a chance to tune in this Sunday, October 5 to Shaw Cable, you’ll be impressed by the lineup and I’m sure motivated to make a donation.  You can find more information and details at the Nanaimo Child Development Center website.  Andy was fortunate to have access to the Nanaimo Child Development Center growing up, he is a Gabriola resident and definitely a success story, we often find him cheerfully reading out the horoscopes in Artworks, a great way to start a day.  One of Andy’s hopes is to be a news reporter, it would be pretty amazing if we could find a way to make that happen for him with the support of the community – might have to work on that!
